“LOVE”
I like to draw different kinds of things. I am really good at it except I had a few problems drawing people. So what I did was I practiced until I understood how to draw people. Now that I know, I love to draw people. In my work the message I was trying to get out to the viewers was love, how love can be a wonderful thing in life. This piece is the true meaning of love. I hope this piece inspires people to draw wonderful things.
I wanted to show everyone that love isn’t always a bad thing. If you really care about someone then you should show it. The title of my art work is “Love”. I titled it that because it shows you life and compassion. I drew this piece with a pencil and I just drew it on paper. I chose to represent this piece because love means a lot to me. Well I would have to say I got my inspiration from my boyfriend. He inspires me to do a lot of different drawings. When I look at my piece it makes me smile because I know that I am in love with a great guy. The different elements that were used in this piece were line, shape, value, a little space, and form. But I mainly just used lines on my piece and shaded in the darker areas around our faces. The different principles that I used were pattern, balance, emphasis, and movement.
While I was drawing this piece I was feeling happy. I was so cheerful when I drew this piece. I enjoyed drawing this piece because this piece made me feel good inside while drawing it. I worked really hard on this piece to make it look as real as possible. I don’t like to rush while drawing because it takes time and effort. This piece took me about an hour to an in a half to draw. I put all my effort into this piece because if the picture doesn’t look good enough to me then I have to fix it. The time I spent on my art work was what makes this piece so successful. This art work best describes me because love is a big part of my life. I don’t know what I would do without love. Hopefully this inspires people about love and the love of art.
