Artist Statement

Making art is the most carefree thing that I do, it’s like someone you care about, you think about them every day, every moment, and that’s why I feel that my art has taken a shape of a human which has been with me and helped me express myself.
I believe that everyone has a chance to do something creative and make a mark in history or maybe someone’s life. I like to push the limits of art and make pieces that make people’s hearts pound and their minds race even if I did not intended for that to happen with a piece. I’m always pushing myself and I think that sometimes I feel that I need to do more, there is so much more for me out there.
The pieces that I have picked are my favorite and over time I have fallen in love with them. These pieces show the type of art that I make and the feelings and people that influence me the most. I love to make new shapes and forms to create portraits. Through portraits there comes personality and the feelings you can see that come from their faces and the positions there bodies take and that’s the coolest part about painting or drawing people.
I love to use all different types of mediums; clay, acrylic, and oil painting are some of techniques I have used in my portfolio. These mediums allow me to create pieces that I enjoy very much. Art has always and will always be a part of my life and has had an effect on many people and I will always strive to achieve great pieces that many people will either love or hate and the people who love my art work will only give me the confidence I need and the people who hate my work will only help me become better and to work harder and only make me stronger. No matter what people say I will always have my way of making my art work and putting an impression on whoever sees my art. My goal is to make people open their minds and also be inspired to create and to find a muse in their life it may be music, painting ,sculpting photography, anything that makes a person come out and be who they are just by creating art.
With my art work I want to inspire others to just go out there and find themselves and to tell their own stories. I believe that’s what an artist is, a storyteller and we all have ways of telling our own stories our own struggles, pleasures and pasts.
